What is actually in each capsule? +
Whole mushroom powder and a vegetable cellulose capsule shell. That's the entire ingredient list. Potency and exact strain are printed on every batch label. Every capsule is individually weighed and calibrated to 0.25g for consistent dosing.
How accurate is the dosing? +

Which strain should I start with? +
First-time users: start with Golden Teacher or the Mushroom Blend - Strain Specific for a forgiving, predictable experience. Some experience: try Bluey Vuitton for focus or Albino PE for depth. Seasoned users: Tidal Wave, Enigma, or Blue Meanie deliver the highest potency in the line.
What is the difference between 3.5G, 7G, and 14G? +
These are total mushroom content per bottle. 3.5G equals 14 capsules, 7G equals 28 capsules, 14G equals 56 capsules. Each capsule is 0.25g regardless of bottle size - more caps means better value per gram.
What is the smallest dose I can take? +
Every capsule is precision-filled to 0.25g, so a single cap is your smallest exact step and a low, entry-level dose - above a sub-perceptual amount, not below it. That precision is the point: you can step up one cap at a time knowing each one weighs the same. New users typically start with one cap of Golden Teacher, Bluey Vuitton, or the Mushroom Blend - Strain Specific and adjust from there.
How should I store my capsules? +
Keep bottles sealed, out of direct sunlight, at room temperature. Stored correctly, potency holds for 18 months or more from manufacture date. Manufacture and expiration dates are printed on every bottle base.
How long until I feel effects? +
Onset is typically 30-90 minutes on an empty stomach, longer if taken with food. Peak effects occur 2-3 hours after dosing. Full duration is 4-6 hours for most strains, with Tidal Wave and Enigma running longer. Do not redose within the same session.

Can I order online and pick up later? +
No online ordering at this time. Visit a retail partner in person to browse their current Caps Lock stock. Retailer inventory varies - call ahead if you are looking for a specific strain.

Are you FDA approved? +
Psilocybin-containing mushroom products are regulated at the state level. Caps Lock operates under the Ann Arbor entheogenic plant decriminalization ordinance (2020) and is available only through select Michigan retail partners. Do I need to be 21 to purchase? +
Yes. Caps Lock products are sold only to adults 21 and older. Retailers will check ID at time of purchase. Keep products sealed and out of reach of children and pets.
Can I use Caps Lock with medication? +
Consult your physician before use if you are taking any prescription medication, especially SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium, or blood pressure medication. Do not use if pregnant, nursing, or have a history of psychotic disorders. Never combine with alcohol.
Can I drive after taking Caps Lock? +
No. Do not operate heavy machinery, drive, or perform tasks requiring full motor and cognitive function for at least 8 hours after dosing. Plan your session in a safe, comfortable setting with someone you trust.
